Have you ever found the winter season a challenge to get through?

Does the season of holidays create more stress or sadness than joy? Are you seeking a deeper connection with yourself and your people? Do you feel uncomfortable when you think about being in stillness?

A yes to any of these questions is why you will want to join Claire and Jo for this fantastic weekend retreat.

Embark on this adventure as we withdraw from the busyness of everyday life, leaving the hustle and bustle of the holiday season and the compounding stressors of the past two years behind.

Winter is time for reflection

The physical idea of winter and the figurative idea of going inside is daunting to most people. But winter is a time for going inside, a period of quiet reflection, finding stillness and truth.

During this retreat, we will celebrate the closing of another year by honoring what we have come through in 2022 while letting go of thoughts and beliefs that no longer serve us.

Through intentional movement, mindful, grounded & empowering activities, we will reclaim our lives from the inherent chaos of today's world and step back into our daily life renewed and refreshed.

What is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?

RetreatDescription

Most of us are so busy that we struggle to live in the present moment. We push through winter, heads down and hoods up, hoping it flies by so we can finally enjoy spring again. But there is a warmth to be wrapped up in when going inside, both physically and figuratively.

Our weekend together is a chance to fully embrace how winter is a sacred time to slow down and rest, a time for introspection and presence. It is a period to nurture our souls and learn about ourselves so that we can be more intentional as we step into the possibilities found in a new year.

We will learn that designing the life we want to live is one "from which we do not wish to withdraw." Harnessing the energy of December's full moon is the perfect time for releasing layers of stress and the pressure of keeping up with a life that isn't aligned with your authentic Self and your truth.

In the stillness of winter, the deep quiet of the north woods is the perfect place for introspection. Together we will laugh & cry our way to the magic of going inside, so you leave this retreat with:

  • A deeper understanding of yourself

  • Tools to help move from your head to your heart & calm the nervous system

  • A renewed desire to put yourself first through an easeful daily practice of mind, body & spirit connection

  • A feeling of empowerment grounded in your weekend experience

  • Connection to a tribe of like-minded people

Each Day Includes

  • Two yoga or movement and breathwork practices for all levels (no experience needed)

  • Guided meditation & journaling

  • Facilitated group workshops & activities

  • Free time to be, enjoy the area or relax in the sauna

We withdraw not to disappear but to find another ground from which to see, a solid ground from which to step and from which to speak again, in a different way, a clear, rested, embodied voice we begin to remember again as our own.
